Welcome
The Student Mentoring Network is a network of alumni of the UW-Stevens Point College of Natural Resources who have volunteered to provide counsel and advice on employment choices, vocational advancement, occupational outlooks and other career-related questions for CNR students. This innovative, student-centered service to the College of Natural Resources was developed and is administered by staff of the GEM Rural Leadership and Community Development Program to facilitate student success along career pathways.  Funding for the implementation of the Network is provided by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to the Global Environmental Management Education Center (GEM).

Students using the mentoring network should begin by searching the network records through the mentor search page. The search will allow students to identify persons they wish to contact. After students have identified one or more individuals they want to talk with, we expect them to review the student guide before making contact. The guide provides suggestions and procedures to get the most benefit from the network.

Want to become a mentor? Alumni from the CNR are invited to participate.
